Made new business cards

These were super easy and fun to make. I wanted new cards, but didn't want to shell out a fortune. I had some old scrapbook card stock that was looking sort of rough, and was blank on one side. I designed the cards using images from the Graphics Fairy, and printed them on the back of the card stock, so they have a nice pattern on the back. What do you think?

Having fun

Here are some of the new things we have going on at the Market:

Farmer's Market

Three Penny Market has a new location at a Farmer's Market in Provo, Utah! A few months ago, my partner in crime, Shelly, told me she was moving to Utah, but not to worry, she was taking me with her. I thought she was in some strange sort of denial. Then my husband got a job in Orem, and we moved to Utah before she did! Never doubt fate. We looked in vain for flea markets here, and found out they don't really exist. What they do have is Farmer's Markets- sort of like a flea market, but you can also buy empanadas, live chickens, and pots of tomatoes! We are loving it. The new location is at Pioneer Park in downtown Provo from 9-2 every Saturday through October.

Here is Shelly tidying up.

Felt Food

Here is a collection of felt food I have made over the last year or so:

This last picture of strawberries has only felt leaves- the rest, even the bowl, is made out of upcycled t-shirts.

New tags

Sometimes it seems crazy, but I love it when we have the time to make custom price tags or packaging. It probably costs us more in the long run, but I love how special it makes everything look.

Overheard at the Flea market

Big burly kid: They had these cool BB guns in there mom, can I get one?
Little Brother: ( looks alarmed )
Mom: No absolutely not. Don't you remember what happened the last time I let you shoot a BB gun?
B B Kid: No
Dad: We had a BB gun?
Mom: He shot his brother!
Dad: (Sheepishly) Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
